Precautions when moving house

To warn about how to make a residential move in complete safety and without damaging or losing the pieces, our sales manager, Eduardo Avelar, and the personal shopper, Heloisa Chiossi Queiroz, a partner of Iugas, gave an interview on the subject, live, on the Band Mulher show, hosted by Debora Selane, on TV Band Mais, in early November.

In the interview, the specialists highlighted the differential packaging service to preserve sensitive parts and items, in addition to the personal organizer work, which serves to optimize the move in a more functional way.

One of the most important points highlighted for precious items to remain in perfect condition is to carry out a good packaging process for correct protection. Care when organizing and boxing clothes, shoes and even the wardrobe, one of the most important parts of the move, is essential. “As in the other rooms of the house, special attention is given to the bedrooms.

Our team, specialized in assembling and disassembling furniture, identifies the pieces when packing so that nothing is missing or damaged. We have exclusive boxes for the screws, and the customer ends up just watching all the work of our team”, explains the sales manager of Iugas Moving and Transport, Eduardo Avelar.

Because they are very resistant boxes, many customers end up staying longer because the wardrobe has not yet been assembled or the project is not finished. According to Avelar, drawer-style boxes are great options for keeping the organization that was on the dresser or inside the wardrobe. “The hanger pieces are hung on the clothesline inside the coat rack box, which is suitable for this function, and are sealed so that the items do not fall during transport”, he explains.

The shoe is another item that receives attention. “We have honeycomb boxes that prevent the shoes from hitting each other, avoiding scratches, especially the varnish ones”, says Avelar.

The service provided by the personal shopper, Heloisa Chiossi Queiroz, an Iugas partner, was also highlighted in the report. The professional highlighted the importance of separating the pieces by categories and how to help the customer eliminate some clothes that they no longer use for donation, greatly reducing the volume and facilitating packaging and transportation.
